Business connection

Turn a campaign idea into an editable Canva design.

Use connected Canva workflows to prepare hospitality campaign visuals, review a preview and continue editing in Canva.

Current scope

Selected workflows tested

Canva-native generation and editable-design handoff have been tested in Loop. Early-access scope varies by account; private-image upload and other creative workflows are still being developed and verified.

What you need

  • A Canva account authorized for the relevant design and asset permissions.
  • Rights to use the brand assets, images and content supplied for a campaign.
  • Any Canva plan or credits required by the selected Canva feature.

From brief to manager review

Loop can turn a campaign brief into a design request and show the resulting preview. The manager can open the matching editable design in Canva and refine it. A generated preview is not approval to publish a campaign.

What is shared with Canva

The selected workflow may send a creative brief, text, brand information and approved assets to Canva. Design identifiers, thumbnails and export information can return to Loop. Uploads of private images depend on the enabled workflow and the rights confirmed for that asset.

Approval and account control

Connecting Canva grants the selected design and asset permissions. It does not authorize Loop to publish a social post, change your subscription or spend without the authorization required by that workflow. Canva’s own feature limits and credit rules still apply.

Disconnecting Canva

Revoke the connection in Canva or ask LoopdUp to disconnect it. Designs saved in your Canva account remain subject to Canva’s own controls; removal of Loop-held campaign records or assets can be requested separately.

Technical details
  • Loop uses Canva Connect APIs and a separate authorized Canva MCP connection for the workflows that require them.
  • MCP is the connection protocol that lets Loop request supported Canva tools. It is not permission to access every design or publish automatically.
  • OAuth grants and refresh credentials are bound to the authorized account and Loop venue context. Connect and MCP access are not treated as interchangeable.
