Integration in development

Google Business Profile, with the manager in control.

LoopdUp is preparing a selected-venue beta for authorized hospitality managers who want to handle their own Business Profile review workflow from LoopdUp Desk. Live availability depends on Google API approval and venue setup.

LoopdUp is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.

Current status

Selected-venue beta

The integration is implemented for controlled testing. Official Business Profile API access is still under review, so it is not presented as generally available.

Connection
Google OAuth
External actions
Manager approval required
Live review retention
Up to 29 days

Authorized access

Connect only the profile you own or manage.

The venue owner or an authorized manager signs in with Google, reviews the requested permission, and selects the verified Business Profile location that belongs to the active LoopdUp venue. LoopdUp never requests or stores the user's Google password.

1. Authorize

Google OAuth grants revocable access to the Business Profile connection. The manager remains in control of the Google account.

2. Map the venue

LoopdUp reads authorized account and location information so the manager can map one verified profile to the correct venue.

3. Approve each action

LoopdUp may prepare a review reply draft. The manager reviews or edits it and must explicitly choose to send it.

Beta scope

Direct profile management, not hidden automation.

The current implementation is intentionally narrow and manager-led.

Implemented beta workflow

  • Read authorized account and verified location information.
  • Map the selected Business Profile location to the active venue.
  • Manually sync reviews into the direct Desk review workflow.
  • Prepare reply drafts and send only after explicit manager approval.

Not automatic

LoopdUp does not automatically publish review replies, change opening hours, edit a listing, or make another external Google account change. The current beta does not edit listing information. If that capability is introduced later, every change will require prior specific manager approval.

Data boundary

Only what the direct workflow needs.

LoopdUp separates official Business Profile API content from its public review-analysis sources.

Connection data

OAuth credentials are encrypted. Account and location identifiers, the connected email, granted scopes, mapping state, and operational sync metadata support the connection.

Review workflow data

Normalized review and reply fields are stored temporarily for the direct Desk workflow. Live official content expires after no more than 29 days, and the raw API response is not retained.

No API-content aggregation

Live official review content is not used for Manager AI analysis, Pulse summaries, Venue Snapshot cards, or aggregated review-health reporting.

Full details are in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Disconnect

Remove LoopdUp access at any time.

An authorized manager can disconnect in LoopdUp Desk or contact LoopdUp. Disconnect clears the stored Google credential and venue mapping, deletes applicable live official review workflow data, and makes a best-effort OAuth revocation request.

You can also revoke LoopdUp directly in Google Account third-party connections . For a verified termination or deletion request, email hello@loopdup.com . LoopdUp will disassociate the connection and remove applicable permissions within seven business days.

LoopdUp cannot delete information that Google keeps independently. See the data deletion instructions .
