Google Business Profile integration
Google Business Profile API access has been approved for LoopdUp. Authorized hospitality managers can connect their own profile for supported live review workflows. Enabled features and venue setup are confirmed during early-access onboarding.

Current status
Google API access is approved. Rollout remains venue-specific: an authorized manager connects the account and confirms the supported workflows for the selected location.
Authorized access
The venue owner or an authorized manager signs in with Google, reviews the requested permission, and selects the verified Business Profile location that belongs to the active LoopdUp venue. LoopdUp never requests or stores the user's Google password.
Google OAuth grants revocable access to the Business Profile connection. The manager remains in control of the Google account.
LoopdUp reads authorized account and location information so the manager can map one verified profile to the correct venue.
LoopdUp may prepare a review reply draft. The manager reviews or edits it and must explicitly choose to send it.
Current scope
Supported workflows are tied to the exact connected venue and its authorized manager.
LoopdUp does not automatically publish review replies, change opening hours, edit a listing, or make another external Google account change. The current review workflow does not edit listing information. If that capability is introduced later, every change will require prior specific manager approval.
Data boundary
Connection metadata and live Google review content have different handling rules.
OAuth credentials are encrypted. Account and location identifiers, the connected email, granted scopes, mapping state, and non-content operational metadata support the connection.
Reviews are fetched live for the authorized location. Active review pages can remain in process memory for up to 15 minutes, with no extension from cache reads. Sign-out, venue changes, disconnect and expiry clear the applicable session cache.
Review text, reviewer identities and review-derived summaries or analytics are not stored as a permanent archive or reusable AI memory. Any permitted analysis is bounded to the live operation; later views require a fresh read from Google.

Disconnect
An authorized manager can disconnect in Loop or contact LoopdUp. Disconnect removes the Google credential mapping and venue association, clears applicable live session content, and makes a best-effort OAuth revocation request.
You can also revoke LoopdUp directly in Google Account third-party connections . For a verified termination or deletion request, email hello@loopdup.com . LoopdUp will disassociate the connection and remove applicable permissions within seven business days.
LoopdUp cannot delete information that Google keeps independently. See the data deletion instructions .
