Venue setup required
Available workflows depend on the connected Facebook Page, Instagram business account and permissions granted by Meta. Setup is confirmed during early-access onboarding.
What you need
- Authority to manage the Facebook Page and, where used, its connected Instagram business account.
- Authorization for the messaging and account permissions required by the selected workflow.
What Loop helps with
Loop supports guest questions, service requests, staff replies and handoff across connected Meta channels. Where enabled, account and performance information helps managers understand their channel activity.
Your team sets the boundaries
Automated guest replies follow the venue’s configured service rules. Staff can take over conversations and pause the bot. Messaging windows and permitted follow-up are governed by Meta’s platform rules; connecting an account does not grant unrestricted marketing access.
Data used for the connection
Loop may process account and Page identifiers, guest messages, attachments, available profile information, delivery status and staff reply history. Access is tied to the connected business and authorized venue users. Connection credentials are handled by the protected integration workflow.
Remove access or request deletion
You can revoke the business integration through Meta’s account settings and contact LoopdUp for disconnection or deletion. Revoking access stops future authorized requests; deletion of existing Loop records is handled separately under our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion instructions.
Technical details
- Meta APIs and authenticated webhooks connect the business channels to Loop.
- Facebook Page and Instagram account permissions are scoped to the workflow. Personal Meta passwords are not required by Loop.
- WhatsApp is a separate connection path; it is not automatically enabled by connecting Facebook or Instagram.
